Museum of the Future Dubai Tickets

Museum of the Future Dubai is one of the city's most recognizable architectural landmarks and a major attraction for visitors interested in science, technology, innovation and future-focused experiences.

The museum is currently temporarily closed for a major redevelopment. According to the official Museum of the Future, the closure began at the start of September 2026 while the attraction prepares a completely reimagined visitor experience. The museum is expected to reopen in the first quarter of 2027.

Museum of the Future Temporary Closure

The museum is not permanently closed. The current closure is temporary while its exhibitions, technologies, interactive experiences and visitor journey are redesigned.

The official museum has stated that the existing exhibitions will not simply reopen in their previous form. Visitors can expect a new narrative, new exhibitions, new spaces and a more interactive visitor experience when the museum reopens.

When Will Museum of the Future Reopen?

The current official target is the first quarter of 2027, coinciding with the museum's fifth anniversary. Tickets for the renewed museum are expected to become available closer to the reopening date.

For this reason, bookings on our website should currently be treated as future availability requests rather than guaranteed immediate admission.

What to Expect After Reopening

The renewed Museum of the Future is expected to introduce an entirely new visitor journey. The official museum says interactivity will play an even larger role, with visitors becoming active participants in exploring ideas and shaping their own experience.

The new version is expected to feature new exhibitions, labs, interactive technologies and redesigned spaces rather than simply restoring the previous displays.

Iconic Dubai Architecture

The exterior structure of the Museum of the Future will remain unchanged. Its distinctive torus-shaped design and Arabic calligraphy-covered façade have made it one of Dubai's most recognizable modern landmarks.

The museum was designed by Killa Design and engineered by Buro Happold. Its architecture is part of the attraction itself and continues to draw visitors even during the temporary closure.

Museum of the Future Location

The Museum of the Future is located on Sheikh Zayed Road beside Jumeirah Emirates Towers in Dubai. Emirates Towers Metro Station on the Red Line provides convenient public transport access, and a link bridge connects the metro station directly to the museum area.

Museum of the Future Ticket Price

The museum's current official plan-your-visit information lists the general entry ticket at AED 169 for visitors aged four and above. However, because the museum is temporarily closed, final pricing for the renewed experience should be confirmed again when ticket sales resume.

Children under four may qualify for complimentary admission according to the museum's published conditions. People of Determination and one accompanying caregiver may also qualify for complimentary entry under the venue's policy.

Future Booking Requests

You may send a booking request now if you are planning a future Dubai trip. Our team can check whether the museum has reopened and whether tickets are available for your preferred date.

No ticket should be treated as confirmed until current reopening status, ticket price, date and availability have been checked.

How to Book When Tickets Reopen

Once ticket sales resume, select the Museum of the Future ticket, choose your preferred visit date and enter your guest details.

Submit your booking request and wait for confirmation. The museum has historically used timed admission, so future tickets may also require a specific date and entry time.
